Bottle, finally getting to this, long story about the long wait, lets see how they’ve held up. Black beer, skiff of foam. Aroma is coffee, toasted barley, yeast, caramel and hint of fruit. Taste is dark chocolate, coffee, sour cherries. Palate medium, carbonation subdued.

12 oz bottle.

A – Very dark brown, near black, with a short but semi-durable tan head. Very good lacing.

Aroma – Mild-moderate strength. Not particularly promising coffee aroma. Surprisingly strong dark chocolate note. A bit boozy.

Flavor: Definitely better than the aroma suggests, with a fine coffee flavor over a well crafted stout. Some hop bitterness as well. Very dark roasted grains with minimal burnt toast and subtle dark chocolate notes.

Feel – Medium-full body is creamy smooth. Soft, medium carbonation.

Overall: I like it.

Pours tar black with a creamy tan head that vanishes quickly leaving a tan lacing around the glass. Aroma of coffee, roasted malt, and dark chocolate. Creamy body with subtle coffee, roasted malt, and cocoa flavor. Very nice.

Damn good beer. You actually get some of the more subtle notes of the coffee and not just ash and roast.

Bottle:
Black, with a dark tan head.
Lactic, dark coffee malt, chocolate scent.
Taste is sweet, milky chocolate malt, smoky coffee malt.
The richest and most solid of the series.
Really tasty.

12oz bottle. Did this side x side x side x side with the other coffee varieties. I found them to all be very similar with very subtle differences if any. Roast, coffee, some chocolate, and some caramel. I liked the Kona one a tad bit more as to me, the coffee stood out a little more.
