Bottle, finally getting to this, long story about the long wait, lets see how they’ve held up. Black beer, skiff of foam. Aroma is coffee, toasted barley, yeast, and hint of metal. Taste is a bit flat now, some coffee and chocolate and metal. Palate is medium, carbonation moderate.

Pours cola brown with creamy tan head that vanishes quickly. Creamy body with roasted malt, coffee, chocolate sweetness with hint of caramel. Very nice.

UPDATED: APR 5, 2017 12 oz bottle (x2). Clear very dark mahogany with a creamy tan head Superb coffee flavor and good, earthy aroma. If you are not already convinced that Hawaiian Kona coffee is some of the best in the world, this beer may convince you. Fantastic coffee flavor with an excellent balance of sweet and bitter (mildly bitter overall). Notable dark bread component. O - excellent coffee stout.

Color is dark black with light brown head. Zero light penetration. Aroma is of dark chocolate, coffee. Amazing. Taste is lighter than aroma. Light carbonation. Hints of bitter, roasted coffee. Dark chocolate comes out a bit as it warms. Creamy texture. Aroma is much more complex and strong than taste. *12 oz bottle into pint glass. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle: Nearly black with a creamy, light brown head. Sweet, caramel, chocolate, coffee aroma. Creamy, sweet coffee malt taste. Nice....rich, but not as much as a few of the others in the series.

12oz bottle. Did this side x side x side x side with the other coffee varieties. I found them to all be very similar with very subtle differences if any. Roast, coffee, some chocolate, and some caramel. I liked the Kona one a tad bit more as to me, the coffee stood out a little more.
