Pours a mellow, clear copper. Gummy bear, pink grapefruit hop nose. Malty smell. A little tangy with more malt character than I expected. Finishes sharp but nice. As this warms, a Jolly Rancher-like sweetness emerges. Also, some raisin. Very nice. burtonbaton930 (103) - New Jersey, USA - JUN 9, 2011
So fresh and so clean clean. Nice light gold in color with a bubbly head that left some lacing on the glass. Very fresh sent of the outdoors and resiny hops. The malts aren’t anything crazy but very solid. The hop profile is similar, simple yet delicious and not to powerful for the style. Drank the whole thing in a half hour it was that good. If you find some its definitely worth grabbing. Enjoy! kidrobot (103) - Port Charlotte, New Jersey, USA - OCT 30, 2010
Poured a clear amber with minimal head, very hoppy spruce smell with a nice scent of alcohol. The carbonation is pretty soft and leaves a nice hoppy aftertaste. I feel this bomber would work better in a 6 pack. emarkd (100) - Georgia, USA - NOV 23, 2011
Maybe my expectations were just a little too high. After all, Terrapin knows plenty about making a great IPA, so a Fresh Hop Terrapin IPA should be fantastic. This one was good, but not a good as I expected it to be. Nose is mostly pine and resin but seems way too faint for the style. Taste is similar - slightly bitter, pine, resin, citrus, but lots of caramel malts come through also. It’s good, but just seems too balanced and weaker than I expected. Crystal clear redish orange. Light floral hoppy nose with hints of resin and peach. Light bodied, watery. No real flavor to speak of other than an every so slight hint of hops. Calling this an IPA is a stretch.

22oz bottle to pint glass. Pours a deep amber with little to no white head. Aroma of hops malt pine and something woody. Mouth is thin with minimal carbonation. Tastes of roasted malt hops and again a little something oaky. Finish is bitter and lasting but with a nice crispness. A nice seasonable ipa. RickRob925 (60) - Macclenny, Florida, USA - NOV 18, 2010
Had this at Kickbacks on King Street in Jacksonville, FL. Very good beer, and by far the best tonight. Has a very strong, fresh, and smooth hoppy flavor. sgallant (49) - USA - SEP 1, 2011
Smells and first taste are full of hops. Underneath the hops is a basic malt taste that isn’t strong nor great. al_b (36) - Orlando, Florida, USA - NOV 10, 2010
From a bottle. Pours a nice, bright copper color with very little head and lacing. Aroma is sweet, earth/floral hops and malt. Taste is very fresh hops. Thin mouth feel with a slightly sweet finish. SmokeyHamlin (14) - - MAY 26, 2013
I love the fresh hop flavor and aroma. The texture is a little light though.
