Bottle thanks to my Secret Santa! Poured a clear gold with an amber hue and a white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma was quite hoppy with a pine note but also had a strong sweet grain backing. Flavor started with pine but was joined by a relatively strong sweet grains backing.

Bottle… Clear amber ale with a small, creamy, white head. Decent retention. The aroma offers funky, resiny, fruity hops with a nice medium-roast malt underpinning – leather and toffee are also noted. Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. Nice hop flavor; nice malt flavor – perfectly balanced. I love wet hop beers. So much hop flavor without all the pointless bitterness. Fresh flavor; great aromatics.

Orangish pour, white head. Aroma is a bit malty, citrus hops. Malty forward flavor with a juicy citrus hop bite.

Bomber from Capone’s. Pours deep coppery with 2-fingers of off-white head. Nose is Maris Otter malt, fresh wet Amarillo hops, citric. Tastes crisp, hoppy, with citrus, earthiness, and a medium palate heft. Finish is Amarillo hops, malt, some citrus notes. Very good.

Bottle via trade from backlog notes. Pours a clear amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have caramel malts, toasted malts, grass, green hops, citrus, light resin, slight vegetal notes.

sebletitje (10080) - Enghien, BELGIUM - NOV 1, 2010
bouteille.

Bomber thanks to David. Pours a clear dark caramel color with a medium white head. The aroma is sweet earthy hops, syrupy Amarillo. The flavor is nice; sweet candy and fruity Amarillo hops, dry, light toasted malts. Smooth. Not aggressive but nice.

10/15/10. Bomber. Amber/red pour with a nice off-white head that lasts as a ring but doesn’t lace much. Deep sweet citrusy fruit aroma with definite orange and grapefruit combined with some earthy hoppiness and definite toffee/caramel. Rich malty caramel and toffee background that lingers with orange and grapefruit and a hint of cream. Actually quite nice.
