Had this just before the release on draught at the brewery. This brew is a Fresh Hop Ale and it is delightful, could be either IPA or APA. Seems to be around 6.5-7.5% if I had to guess. The appearance is a nice, rich tawny color with rich orange hues. Head is a light khaki color with an outstanding head retention and lacing. The aroma is exceptional, extremely floral, with tons of citrus notes from the fresh hops. Taste is spot on for the style. Extreme hops characteristics of the bat, this was so fresh I feel like I could taste the hop oils. Outstanding malt balance, but the hops were the mainstay here. Citrus, some floral notes, and a bit piney. Lucky to have had this before most. MPosey (134) - , Georgia, USA - OCT 7, 2011
Pours a nice amber hue with big bubbles in the offwhite head. The head disappates quickly. Hoppy aromas, but earthy, herbal aromas, not flowery. Slightly malty attack which is quickly overtaken by the fresh green hop flavors. Almost honey-like sweetness on the finish. Very nice, not flowery hop centered beer. ellolovey (483) - Georgia, USA - OCT 24, 2012
Growler from Crafty Draught. Pours a translucent amber with a nice white foamy head. Nice lacing. Aroma of fresh grass and earthy hops. Some citrus on the nose. Like taking a bite out of a fresh nug. Delicious. Nice sweet malt backbone. Fresh grass and floral hops dominate. Another awesome brew from Terrapin. Never disappointed. bhiner41 (194) - Darien, Illinois, USA - JAN 7, 2011
My standard rating...Awesome! Aroma is fresh sweet hops, more malty than citrus like. Definite smell of grapefruit. Color is between brown and amber. Lots of carbonation but very fine head. Slight citrus finish and a big time hoppy front note. Very lively carbonation. This is one of the IPA’s you could drink all evening. burtonbaton930 (103) - New Jersey, USA - JUN 9, 2011
So fresh and so clean clean. Nice light gold in color with a bubbly head that left some lacing on the glass. Very fresh sent of the outdoors and resiny hops. The malts aren’t anything crazy but very solid. The hop profile is similar, simple yet delicious and not to powerful for the style. Drank the whole thing in a half hour it was that good. If you find some its definitely worth grabbing. Enjoy!

Tap at Flying saucer Yes! This beer is as good as its hilarious name! Pours a beautiful dark Amber color surprisingly dark for an 6.6 ipa. Taste is an awesome sweet hop with a candy finish. Sweetness really hides the higher abv. This is a solid ipa! Could use a bit less sweetness and a little more hop bite. Other than that yes please to another!! SmokeyHamlin (14) - - MAY 26, 2013
I love the fresh hop flavor and aroma. The texture is a little light though.

On tap at Mac’s Speed Shop. Typical IPA type scents in here, and some decent carbonation. Head was just about completely white. Taste was very smooth, but not as much hop character that I would have hoped. Not much aftertaste. A nice IPA but not very complex and missing some of the "fresh" element they were going for. Poured from a bomber into a satan glass (wide flute). Beautiful amber color, semi-transparent and a thick white head.
Wow. It smells like a handful of green hops. Exactly what I was expecting for a wet hop ale. Citrus and a little malt scent getting in there too.
I was expecting more bitterness... but this is still great. Subtly bitter with the malty sweet coming through more. Though not really sweet, just more than bitter.
Soft and medium body. Light carbonation. Very nice.
Very drinkable. The mouthfeel is wonderful. A great looking beer with a nice smell to it. The taste was the only part not bring it strong, but it was still very nice.
