Can. Orange-tinged amber, nice and bubbly, well topped. Definitely carries the "wet hop" character, with a mushy, green flavor profile. Just a hint of a spicy backdrop. Nice Sunday football beer. (#6835, 11/19/2017)

Pretty good Citra IPA, lots of grapefruit, lemondrops, and undertones of green pepper and pine, with a generous caramel malt sweetness underlining the hoppy front. Seems a bit unconcerned with presenting a full-frontal hop assault, instead employing a more crowd-friendly approach, never growing overly juicy or bitter, finishing with a hint of pine and yeast and a gentle citric fade. Grows sweeter as it warms, almost too much so. Somewhat lackadaisical nose gives up minor lemon and grain notes. Good thing the appearance makes a better impression: pours a deep gold with a thick white head and lots of lacing. Texture is nice and oily, if a bit undercarbonated. Drinkable, but not great.

Tallahassee, Fl - Market Square Liquors - 12 oz can. Sparkling light amber pour with a nice glow, silky, snow white head that leaves just a hint of lacing. Aroma is delectable with a perfect blend of spruce notes and mango and citrus. Scrumptious flavor with nice citrus bent to it, plenty of caramel sweetness, some mango fruitiness. Thick, rich mouthfeel. .

12 oz can from Growlers to Go, Short Pump, VA The IPA poured a clear amber color with a frothy head and limited lacing. There is good head retention. The aroma of citrus and tropical fruits greets you. Also some pale malts round out the experience. The taste is nicely done with hop citrus and more tropical fruit. The ale has a medium body with average carbonation. Some hints of spruce after some swallows. The IPA was well constructed. We do not see enough Terrrapin products in Virginia,.

Pours a golden amber color with big fluffy head. Aromas of citrus, fruit, grass, and the best tropics. Flavors of tropical fruits and hops.

"The amarillo description is for the batch that was made when this beer was entered. The recipe stays the same but the hop used changes every year. Much to my liking, this year’s (2012) was citra. Freshest beer I’ve ever had from GA (buddy grabbed it still in the box a week ago). Really nice aroma a blast of citrus, orange and tropical fruit galore, Flavor much the same...understated, but full and lively, slightly dank. Mellow ipa, but I really dug the freshness and aproach to this brew. "

November 2012. Bottle. Cloudy copper color with an offwhite head. Nice aromas of grapefruit, pine and flowers. Very clean and crisp with plenty of hops on the finish. Outstanding IPA.

22 oz. bottle, sent from mwgroove23 (thanks Mike), pours a hazy dark-ish orange with a small beige head. Aroma of tropical fruits, especially mangos, butterscotch, and some caramel malt. Flavour tastes very fresh, with notes of mangos, citrusy hops and some butterscotch. Given that it was likely bottled in October or November 2012, it has held up alright, but not optimal. Good stuff.
