Excellent, boozy stout. Poured black with a ring of dark brown head. Big aroma of dark chocolate, burnt sugar, and coffee. Taste was complex with equal amounts of chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon, roasted malts and coffee with a pleasing and long lasting bourbon and coffee aftertaste. The coffee was high quality and really blended well. Best use of bourbon and coffee in a beer that I’ve tasted. Very smooth, almost no carbonation, but I think that worked well. Wonderful stuff, lucky to have tried. drowland (9077) - Georgia, USA - JUN 4, 2012
First to rate! On tap at Kickbacks! Dark black pour with a small brown head. Rich aroma with tons of complexity. There’s coffee and dark chocolate on top of lots of vanilla, coconut, cinnamon, fudge, and plenty of bourbon. Rich flavor deliciously paralleling all of the above. Awesome!
