Kind of a disappointment, honestly, with the cinnamon being a bit too pronounced and the barrel elements outweighing the coffee that makes the original W-n-B a pretty good, if not great beer. Not bad, easy enough to drink, but just nothing super special.
Tap at Kickbacks during RBWG. Pours a very dark brown with beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is coffee roast snd spice. Strong roast and coffee, vanilla, nice boozy finish, really enjoyed this. Luvystypotables (1922) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - DEC 7, 2013
Aroma of dark chocolate and burnt malt. Rich ebony colour. Smooth taste of coffee and dark chocolate. Palate is a bit weak and slightly bitter. knickskicks (1162) - - DEC 5, 2013
Tap. Black, brown head. Nose is coffee, big oak barrel, some vanilla. Taste is coffee, some chocolate, lots of oak barrel, lasting bitter oaky finish. Smooth sticky mouthfeel, medium bodied. hopscotch (11049) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - MAY 1, 2013
Draft... RBWG 2013... This beer rocks!… Pours pitch black with a small, creamy, off-white head. The aroma is a decadent swirl of dark chocolate, fudge and cinnamon. I’m not picking up any bourbon barrel or vanilla here. Full-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and soft carbonation. The flavor is burnt, bitter and a little boozy – smooth though - no rough edges. Nice essences of cinnamon, dark chocolate and smoke. Acrid, singed, coffee finish with a pinch of cinnamon in the enjoyable aftertaste. World class base beer and a solid treatment! decaturstevo (6240) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - APR 6, 2013
Brown black pour with tan head and lace. Large coffee, sweet chocolate, cough syrup, and abv. Medium bodied with good carbonation. a good malty bitter.

Tap at Kickbacks, RBWG welcome dinner. Pours muddy brown with a small, spotty tannish ehad. Nose is slightly trainwreckish--spices, booze, wood, cedar, light vanilla. Flavor is similar, light paint, sharpie, nutmeg, light cinnamon, and booze. Kinda what I expected actually considering other W-n-B treatments I have had in the past. Kickback Tap Cat Flap!! ... . Deep tan brown clown .. . quite a boozy bastard . .. medium spice, barrel, and ashy chocolate note float .. . easy come easy flow .. . . Mukluk! markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - FEB 28, 2013
On draft at Kickbacks. Pours a dark stout brown with a minimal tan head. Nose was a strange amalgamation of dark fruit, roasted malts, coffee, some light vanilla, and the big Wake N Bake coffee trying to come through. Flavor was similar- there was some fruit, but mild coffee, light vanilla, and some roast. Medium in body and interesting overall. burg326 (5479) - Florida, USA - FEB 27, 2013
On draft at Kickbacks, poured a black color with aromas of roasted malt, light oats, vanilla, some chocolate and a ton of cinnamon. Flavors follow suit, majority is cinnamon. Glad this was still on tap for Sat RBWG. Sledutah (7489) - Utah, USA - FEB 25, 2013
