From notes. Pours a deep rich black with a thick dark tan head. Very nice lacing. Very nice aroma. Dark roasted malt, coffee, and oatmeal are all upfront. There is also a nice little bit of sweetness in there. Great rich coffee flavors, the oatmeal really gives this guy has a big full body. There is a little dark sweet fruit in there to. As noted before very full body, the carbonation is on the higher side of medium. This is a very nice stout, very well balanced with great flavors.

Pours black with a minimal brown head. The coffee is upfront in the aroma. Earthy with notes of vanilla light smoke. The coffee also dominates the flavor with earthy notes and vanilla. Body is a bit thin for a stout. Lasting dry finish. Good but a bit overhyped.

Aroma is rich with chocolate, followed by a full bodied & robust coffee flavour on the palate layered across a crisp oatmeal stout foundation. Slight hints of vanilla are present along the edges of a molasses cookie richness. The finish is very satisfying, bringing grassy notes forward as the coffee complexity lingers. From the tap at Beverage World - Delicious!

DATE: July 24, 2016... OCCASION: a HOT summer day turns to a night of AC that will pair well with this stout... GLASSWARE: Duvel snifter... this "monster beer" pours a pitch-black body, a ring of brown, thin, bubbly head, and a nebula swirl in its middle... with the weighty alcohol content, this is a good-looking beer... robust espresso brine--like damp or dank decaff--blams the nostrils, with oatmeal and rum-like ethanol... a lively, instantaneously warming impact accompanies the smooth, creamy body that is beyond sippable for the power it packs... halfway through, the beer continues to deliver a stunning combination of peat, smoke and salty oatmeal with an intense chocolate and coffee bean punch... having trouble finding holes in this profile.. perhaps the only regret is this isnt a bomber.... from its name to its label, from its impact to its flavor, quite impressive... I would seek this out again in a heartbeat, and what a boon from a breakpack mix...

Pours black with almost no head. Nose is not too strong - some coffee. Taste is great - black licorice, some coffee, and some bitter hops that linger (in a good way) for a while. Alcohol well hidden. Really good beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
