Bottled, 330ml from Tesco in Banbury, Oxon. Clouded straw with white head. Perfumey beer, banana, grassy a little spicy, fruity with a slightly odd herby, yeasty note. Lingering sweetness. It’s ok.

Looks the part of a Belgian Wit. However, it has quite a bit of butterscotch which just doesn’t work at all for this style as it totally overpowers the usual delicate aroma and taste of a wit.

Bottle, 75cl corked. A dense, finger-thick white head forms over a hazy pale yellow body. The aroma has quite a lot of coriander, some lemon and grass, and pale malts in the back. It’s rather thin on the palate, with a nice carbonation level. Quite dry, with flavors of coriander seeds, hay, lemon, some orange zest hints and pale malts. A little bitterness towards the finish. Nothing extraordinary going on here, but it’s a decent beer anyway. 141025
