Hazy amber with a white head, not very pretty. Caramel malt aroma, sweet and tempting. Taste has citrus, malt and cold tea. Mid bitter finish. Pretty good for an own brand!

evilsoc (191) - WALES - MAR 28, 2008
A ruby/amber looking one with a nice creamy coffee coloured head. Caramelised sugar and bready smell with a floral perfume smell too, slightly spicey, slightly funky/yeast too, armpit hops if you like, probably the amarillo because it has a grapefruit quality too. Medium to high bitter citrusy hops on the palate, cakey, long and fairly dry,

Bottle, Tesco, Oxford. Dark caramel color with a light tan head. Pleasant earthy, minty aroma. Rustic caramel malt sweetness, soft resin hop touch, dry finishing with just a little citrus note. Lively, interesting, a very pleasant surprise.
