It has a very nice flavor and smoothness. The 3.6% alcohol is less than satisfactory.

Can from B&M, Team Valley, Amber coloured with a thick creamy head of foam. It has a floral, slight herbal fruity, toffee and malty flavour with a slight tart soapy and sulphur, creamy smooth finish. Not bad.

Keg at Lakeside, Crosby as ’Tetleys Extra Cold’. Shared kindly by someone else. Dark amber brown, hazy with a dense creamy head. Aroma is muted malt sugars, quite airy and plain. Body is smooth with tingly carbonation. Taste is pretty watery, sugars, insipid and washed out with a lightly drying finish. Impressively watery vibe, helped, no doubt, by the extra chilling. Not good at all.

Canette UK. Agréable par sa légèreté, passe bien à tout moment de la journée.

Keg at the Templar. Leeds jaunt. Pours clear amber with a head. Aromas of... Not a lot! Watery caramel. Taste is sweet, watery finish.

Draught. Pours dark golden, with a dense fully lasting off-white head. Herbal aromas, hoppy, light, somewhat malty and a tad of earth. Very creamy texture but mild body. Short finish but toasted malt so it compensates a bit. Some oak and woodiness to it but not much else going on besides that. Low carbonation.

Aroma is metallic caramel. Appearance is dark copper with huge off white nitro head(from the can) that retains for a long time, crystal clear. Taste is caramel, raisin, light earthy aroma hopping and a smooth hop bitterness. Palate is light and creamy. Malt is a little heavier than the hop bitterness but still well balanced. Overall a very nice commercial example of the style. Hard to find beers this small with any flavor left that aren’t fresh. Very drinkable and enjoyable.
