Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts fine hoppy, modest dry, some fruity hints of lemon. Fine grasy. Finish with more malty notes, a bit spicy. Quite drinkable. Nice!

UPDATED: AUG 7, 2014 Draughts on site + 33cl bottles at home 2012-13 (must have slipped through the notes after previous on-site visits). This truly is a SW-regional Pilsner that showcases the delicate and insidiously assertive local Tettnang hop, as well as regionally typical fine almond pale malts. Single hop Pilsner avant la lettre. Aroma and taste dominated by the Tettnanger fresh grass and white pepper aromas, almond dry palate, lingering natural hop bitter finish. Hardly a sessioning Pils, as it does slowly wreak its revenge on the palate due to being nearly overhopped with Tettnang - plus a bit pricey at that - but whoever rates this lovingly handcrafted, headstrong Tettnang-forward Bio-Pils on par with a hop extract macro supermarket shelfer needs their Pils palate readjusted and sense of regionalism reinstated ... // Rerate from draught @Tettnanger Hopfenwandertag 2014: easily the best pilsner of the festival, with a real Tettnang bouquet/Blume, fragrant and rich. Getting harder and harder this side of Franconia and CZ to get pils this characteristic. The DE version of Victory Prima Pils.

Ach, ich weiß nicht. Es ist getreidig, leicht hopfig, mit einem bitteren Abschluss und etwas dumpf. Eine Art 70er Jahre Bier im heute. Geht so. Nicht übel, aber auch keine Rakete. Geht eben.

Pours out of the bottle in clear golden colour with low steady head and medium body. Nose of hops and malt. Taste of dull, old, unfresh hops, basement, straw, leaves, earth, scrumpy old apples and light malt. Very grainy and dull finish. Expected little more aromatic and fresh hops to taste, but otherwise it was quite refreshing.
