Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass quite dark, nice head. Starts strong, malty, a bit moldy. Finish with some fruity hints, more balanced, quite dry. Not bad!

langeveld12 (521) - NETHERLANDS - NOV 16, 2012
Average frothy head, mostly diminishing. Body is flat and dark ruby red. Aroma contains caramel and some fruits like lemon. Flavor is predominantly sweet, with light bitterness, to finish sweet, light acidic and some bitterness. Palate is medium and syrupy, with soft carbonation. Taste is fine, but there are no surprises and little development. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPad

Clear dark ruby color with beige head, quickly diminishing. Aroma is caramel, same for taste. Some bitter in taste and more so in aftertaste, but sweet caramel is always present. (Velp 201211)

Very nice bock. Dark brown, mocca head. Very deep taste, caramel and mocca, sweet but not too sweet. The taste lingers in the mouth.

bierbeek (97) - Beek, NETHERLANDS - OCT 22, 2012
33cl bottle. Brown-red colour. Almost no head. Aromas of metal, liquorice, caramel and sweet malts. Taste is a little bit metal in the beginning, then sweet malts, some smoked flavour finish is liquorice. Nice body. Little bit sticky mouthfeel. One of the better Bockbeers, much more flavour compared to others. Metal taste not to overwhelming, like others say

harbert (100) - leiden, NETHERLANDS - OCT 18, 2012
UPDATED: OCT 21, 2012 De eerste indruk is metaal, maar achter de heavy-metal ligt een fruitig bokbier. Metaal gaat over in aardbei, rode vruchten, balsamico, caramel. Jammer van de sterke metaalsmaak, anders zou het een topbier zijn.
