Zlotta (2361) - Hagen, GERMANY - NOV 7, 2016
0.3 l bottle from AH (Sittard), best before August 2019. Clear, dark red with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity and a bit roasty aroma of caramel, nuts, some brown sugar and a touch of raisins. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity and minimally roasty taste of caramel, chocolate, nuts, brown sugar and hints of raisins, followed by a short, slightly bitter, minimally roasty and a little yeasty finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay, quite tame but pleasant.

Nice fall season Dutch bock. Murky brown with a beige head and medium carbonation. Flavor is of burned malts, caramel, dried fruit and overripe fruit. Lacks a bit of depth but has a nice hop caracter.

Very nice bock. Aroma not very nice. Shall not describe. Taste in which all more or less typical bock aromas should be recognisable. Very balanced. Very good bock! Perhaps even excellent?

Tikje alcohol. Body is wat licht, iets waterig, medium koolzuur. Afdronk is licht bitter en karamel zoet. Redelijke Bock.

Tamelijk slappe en smakeloze bock. Niet de kwaliteit die ik van texels gewend ben.

330ml bottle poured in De Oude Jan, Delft - Brown body with an off white head. Nose and taste both have caramel, toasted malts and some sugar which makes it sweet in a nice smooth way. Decent enough, and one Id have again.
