Glaasje gedronken van tap bij de brouwerij. Amberkleurig bier. Aroma is fruitig. Smaak is fruitig en caramelachtig. Nasmaak is zoet en hoppig. hauxe (712) - Butzbach, Hesse, GERMANY - SEP 13, 2016
Pours chestnut brown from the bottle. The head fizzes and dies. Light caramel aroma with just a touch of spice. Sweet, yet mildly dry and set atop a highly carbonated palate. A light alcohol warmth is noticeable. A little watery at the finish. Quite drinkable, but somewhat bland. Okay. Erzengel (8622) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - SEP 11, 2016
Smooth and malty beginning. The body is round and slightly malty, fresh with dry roasted hints. Long dry bitter roasted and moderate sweetish aftertaste, not too much bitterness. Highly drinkable, nice roasted sweet espresso, milk chocolate, round and nice. Zlotta (3196) - Hagen / Bonn, GERMANY - JUL 9, 2016
Sampled from tap at the brewpub. Clear, dark brownish amber with a light beige head. Sweetish, malty and a little roasty aroma of caramel, some chocolate and hints of coffee. Sweet, malty and slightly roasty taste of caramel, honey, nuts, some chocolate and hints of coffee, followed by a short, slightly roasty-bitter finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay. stijnemans90 (196) - - MAY 26, 2016
Prima dubbel.

Aroma is iets metalig, karamel zoetig, donker fruit, licht geroosterde mouten. Smaak is moutig, zoet fruitig, rozijnen, licht gebrand, licht bitter. Koolzuur medium en mongevoel is wat dun/waterig. Zoet en wat plakkerig. MrW (664) - Mechelen, BELGIUM - APR 14, 2016
Bottle from my sister.
Aromas of dark fruit, a bit boozy.
Poured dark red, light brownish, No head.
Taste is more off, not that fruity, caramel.
Watery weak mouthfeel. Gangstergafje (1102) - Capelle aan den IJssel, NETHERLANDS - MAR 20, 2016
The beer has a very nice appearance. The beer pours a decent layer of a soft almond colored foam. The bulk of the rougher foam collapses quickly, however, a decent drape of soft foam remains to cover the beer. The color of the beer is a beautiful reddish brown. The beer is clear. The beer has a rather mild smell. The little smell that is there, has a little roast aroma. I also smell some almond, and a sweet sour aroma that reminds me a little bit of wild yeast. The taste has this yeast sourness as well. It is not my favorite taste, but it is alright it this beer. The beer has a nice smokey roast flavor. That I do like. All in all, another great beer from the island of Texel. markschiedon (681) - NETHERLANDS - FEB 21, 2016
