Heldere roodbruine kleur met een volle kraag. Ruikt zoet, scherp. Fruit. Smaakt zoetig, caramel, iets bitter.

Cunningham (8581) - Halden, NORWAY - AUG 23, 2014
Deep dark clear amber color with a nice off white head. Looks very good. Fine fruity and toffee aroma. Medium + body. Fine tad balanced sweetness. Smooth fine carbonation. Bready, fruity, toffee and mild spicy flavor. This is a really balanced double. No crazy stuff, still very tasty and nice.
[Bottle from Jan en Anja]

hald liter drank on the water in amsterdam. Delicious nutty dubbel. Every day in dubbeling. Low carb and a little sweet, basically your average dubbel

300 ml bottle. Pours a dark brown colour with a small head. Aroma of toasted malts, yeast and raisins. Sweet flavour with bread, yeast, grass and sugar. Mild graininess. Light bodied and thin mouthfeel. Dull.

chromeotaphor (178) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 29, 2014

(Drinking date: 17 May 2014) Dark red colour with a layer of frothy beige/white foam. There is almost no aroma, and the aroma that ís there, that is just a bit of herbs and a bit of metal. Also bit of dark ripe fruits. The taste is a bit fake or something. A bit sweet and it ends with a bitterness, and then a little bit of a sweet aftertaste. Not really nice. The mouthfeel is good. A bit thicker mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Overall, this beer is not really nice. It tastes a bit fake or something. Total score: 3.2 (By the way, I love this brewery and their other beers, but just not this beer)

3.6
weaselkenievil (1608) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - MAY 8, 2014
Bottle in he Wharf, Macclesfield. Dark brown with a thin beige head. Aroma is quite heavy malts, earth, toffee crisp. Flavour is a little chocolate, some spice, drinkable and pretty smooth finish.

4.1
rozsoma (1164) - Gyõr, HUNGARY - APR 26, 2014
Farock. Gyümölcsös malátás, ragadós, fincsi, magvas, barna, vörös, nem komcsi, de komplex, nem valami szénsavas, könnyen iható, alkohol nem érződik ki belőle.
