larsga (7690) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 11, 2013
Small offwhite head. Hazy brown body. Spicy toffee aroma with earthy chocolatey notes. Dry-sweet earthy chocolatey taste with spicy dried fruit notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish spicy licorice aftertaste with roasty raisiny syrup notes. Nice, drinkable, and vivid. (0.33l bottle at Café Gollem, Amsterdam.)

Bottle @ home. Aroma is caramel malt with some red fruit. Flavour is malty sweetness of caramel, slight bready note, some fruit and a touch of metal. Boring standard dubbel.

Clear brown. Small beige rapidly fading head. Caramel roasted malts, dark fruit, raisins. Rather sweet, but nice and warming. Good beer for the colder days.

mike_77 (7370) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - JUN 17, 2012
Dark red-brown colour. No head. malty and some sweet, fruity notes. Slight smokiness in the finish. Not a nice mouthfeel; big carbonation and thin texture.

2.9
erickok (6036) - Leuven, BELGIUM - MAY 8, 2012
Murky brown body with pillowy light tan head. Lively body. Aroma has Belgian yeast, nutty, caramel, earthy, sharp hops. Classic style. Low carbonation. Taste is pretty metallic (or astringent), not as sweet as most dubbels but also missing body and character. Feels industrial. Not great. (33cl bottle, very cheap at the brewery shop)

2.6
vipinvelp (4604) - Velp, NETHERLANDS - APR 25, 2012
Dark brown poor and small off-white very fast dissapearing foam head. Strong taste, nuts and yeast, bitter too. Somewhat sweet finish, not my favorite I think. (Velp 201104)

2.9
thanatosti (1873) - Culemborg, NETHERLANDS - MAR 11, 2012

Russo (2014) - Hemhofen, GERMANY - FEB 2, 2012
Bottled. Deep dark amber color, off-white head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, and sugar. Flavour is too sweet, hints of caramel, mouthfeel is sweety.
