300713. Bottle at home. Pours clear ruby with a nice head. Aroma brown sugar, metallic notes. The odd notes overwhelm but yet ok. Without them would be Not Bad.

33 cl. bottle @ Gollem. Photo shoot amber with a film on top. Smells sweet with heavy white sugar peaches, sticky malts with white sugar yeast layered on top. Simple and sweet but not necessarily off-putting. Taste combines the simplistic sweet yeast & malts coupled with white sugar and candy peaches with bitter esters and grass from the hops. Finished with some pepper. Body is quite heavily carbonated. Forgettable and far too safe to be honest, threatening to become far too much before the glass is over. With all that said it is not really a bad beer and enjoyable for what it is.

Opaque slightly orange yellow with small white foam ring, lacing to glass. Aroma is malty. Taste is caramel, bit too sweet. Aftertaste is lasting, malty. (Velp 201306)

Uit de fles met biergilde Hoorn. Amberkleurig troebel bier. In de geur overheerst alcohol met een vleugje hop ernaast. Smaak is vooral zoet, jammer dat de bieren van Texel dit het zoete karakter zo delen, variatie had ze interessanter gemaakt voor de liefhebber.

Christos (5859) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - JUN 16, 2013
300 ml bottle, into a tulip glass. ABV 5,5% Deep orange colour on the body, just a little bit hazy, with two fingers of white head on top. Low retention, it leaves light lacing on the glass. Aroma is weak, some caramel, some sweet malts, but not much here. Taste is nothing special either. Quite sweet with malts, yeast, maybe some spices. Sort of fruity aftertaste. Medium body, low carbonation. Overall nothing too special, very easily forgetable.

Ruikt, bloemig en hoppig. Smaakt fris met een lichte bittere nasmaak. Prima biertje.

A nice amber beer for in the sun. A soft taste for a bottled beer. Recommend ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
