I like this beer a lot of tap at the brewery, but when I tried it again at home, it lost something. This brewery has some of the softest beers imaginable when on tap, producing the smoothest ride possible. Bottled isn’t the same. This is citrusy with an assertive hoppiness. Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass:
Medium sized creamy light beige ish colored foamy head on top of a hazy orange amber brown colored beer.
Aromas of fruits, apricot, orange, some prunes and figs, malts, caramel, some chalk and wood notes, some herbs and a light sugary sprinkle.
Flavours of cream, malts, caramel, bitters, prunes and peach, some sweet nutty tones, light yeasty some hay, herbs and a sweeter barley malt touch.
Aftertaste is herbal, bitter, malty, light caramel and some sweet yeast.
Low carbo, creamy silky mouthfeel, medium bodied and a creamy texture.
Very nice, quite crisp and refreshing and a round beer with a silky edge.
Well done. luuknederkoorn (13) - - APR 5, 2014

Gushes dark amber with minimal head. Great lacing though. Slightly hazy. Yeasty and spicy aroma. Some sugars, slight metallic note. Bit dubbel-like to me. Taste is bitterish and pretty toasty with a nice sweetish and yeasty kick. Mild presence of caramels and a dryish, slightly hoppy and yeasty, almost creamy finish. On the thinner side of the palate, yet still creamy. Medium bodied and lively in terms of carbonation. Nice brew. Not astonishing, but certainly above average. undercurrent25 (2246) - Barnton, Cheshire, ENGLAND - SEP 1, 2012
