MelvinKalksma (1536) - NETHERLANDS - AUG 22, 2016

Slight/medium aroma of malts, caramel, bread, yeast, fruit and hops.

Turbid/opaque golden/amber beer with heavy yeast and with a slight/medium off-white head.

Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, yeast and fruit; ends slightly dry with bread and hops.

This beer is rather intense and balanced, but lacks complexity. No distinct flavour and depth in this one. Even rather weak for the 7.5abv.

BeerViking (4783) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 17, 2016
Bottle, 7.5% ABV, pours murky golden-brown with little head. Nose has green apple, a little yeast and caramel. Palate is creamy and warming and earthy bitter. Sort of like a pale ale crossed with a Weizen.

JorisPPattyn (10001) - Ursel, BELGIUM - JUN 21, 2016
Towering, light-yellow head, stable over clear orange-copper beer. End of bottle solid yeast and UFO’s. Bananaester, very intensely. Some spicy notes, yeasty and other esters. (’Hot" to make it "Belgian"?) Cookies with herbs and spices. Bitterish, then sweet. Lots of toasted and sweet malts. Some concentrated orangejuice, esters, alcohol. Banana again retronasal. Bit fiery MF. Medium bodied, serious carbonation. It’s 7.5% ABV, so it ought to be Strong Belgian ale at least. But was it meant to be "Belgian" ?

Draft sample at Pint Meibockfestival 2016 Amsterdam, The Netherlands. 17.04.2016. Taste with Jelena and Zlotta. Pour it hazy orange color with medium white head. Aroma sweet, yeasty on the back. Taste of sweet fruity, like banana, you can taste that corn also on the back, but still good and ok.

Gangstergafje (1142) - Capelle aan den IJssel, NETHERLANDS - MAY 11, 2016
The beer has a nice look. The color of the beer is amber colored. The beer is quite cloudy. On top of the beer a rather small layer of foam is formed. The foam is quite soft, and collapses quickly. After a while, a nice drape of foam remains. The looks are nice, but a bit simple. The smell is quite simple to. I smell some aromas of almonds, some metal and a tiny savory touch. It’s nice, but a bit mild and simple. The taste is a bit better. There is also a nice almond aroma. I also taste some slight toasty touches. Again there some metal. It has a familiar Texels flavor. Nice beer, but not super special or good.

Gaelic (179) - Rotterdam, NETHERLANDS - MAY 10, 2016
Amber coloured blond Meibock. Fresh sweetness, soft, good drinkable, convenient bitters. A decent beer for the first Spring.

Icedwarf (1654) - Etten-Leur, NETHERLANDS - APR 22, 2016

Geruch: Hefe, malzig, leicht fruchtig. Geschmack: überraschend alkoholisch, süßlich, malzig, leicht fruchtig würzig und etwas säuerlich, trocken. Gut!
