A malty aroma, light sour and bitter, some citrus and light medical. The white foamy head has a normal size with a normal duration. The body is dark red. A malty and light sour taste, some bread. The body is medium strong, very creamy with a soft carbonation. sjogro (4479) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - JAN 10, 2016
Bottle at home, my dealer was Van Alsem. Slightly hazy amber with big white head. Sweet malts, grassy, citrus fruity, yeasty, spices, slightly alcoholic, banana candy. Over moderate sweet with light bitter counterpart, lactic acid in the aftertaste. Body is medium, slightly over average carbonation. A very adequate brew, but I’m bored with this kind of (sweet, Belgian yeasty) beer and this is very much a middle of the road, safe flavor. Well executed but boring.
