33cl. Fles. Rode kleur, witte schuimkraag. Eerste smaakimpressie : wauw!!!!! Westvleteren minus de extra koolzuur! Lekker! Geroosterde mout, zachte bitter nasmaak in afdronk.

Op fles 33cl. Donkere kleur met stevige schuimkop. Mooie volle smaak wat in de richting van Westvleteren gaat.

Bottle. Liquorice aroma. Hazy dark brown colour. Big light brown head, quite stable. Roasted flavour, slightly sweet. Hint of chocolate and wine. Some pepper in good balance with a high maltiness. Very nice.

Bought at one of the Jumbo Supermarket here in Amsterdam. Pours hazy dark amber with a small, quick disappearing off-white head. Aroma is malty, spicy and fruity in a clear autumn-like way. Clear dark fruits, spices, some yeast, some alcohol, something roasty, nuts, cloves and, surprisingly... liquorice. Beautiful smell. if this was some kind of fragrance, I would wear it every day in autumn/winter. True ten. Taste is sweet, roasty, yet incredibly soft. Beautiful touch of the present dark fruits. berries, some banana, the sugars and the nuts. Some chocolate and liquorice as well. Small alcohol kick, giving it a boozy total, but it remains pretty soft until the end, which remains surprising to me. Finish is moderately sweet, bit bitterish and loveably warming. Beautifully full-bodied with a creamy texture. Lacking a small carbonation sting though, which is quite a minor disturbance. In general I loved this brew and would not hesitate to drink this the whole fall. Nice well-balanced brew. Stormy Stormbock is quite a overwhelming stormer indeed.

Mooi donker amberkleurig bier met romige crème schuimkraag. Aroma en smaken van mout, caramel, (hazel)noten, beetje calvados. Lekker zoetige en warme afdronk. Totaal géén fan van dit genre maar deze is TOP !!

I found this to be a very nice bock beer. Tried it at the brewery in 2013 and I was amazed by its smooth mouthfeel. Very soft but a heavy flavor profile dominated by banana, caramel, and brown sugar.

Is it possible just to give a rating without writing a comment? It's a good beer

Mooi donker bier, vol van smaak. Zoet en licht bittere afdronk. Smaak van kandij wat ook zorgt voor de donkere kleur. Wij hebben in 2017 de 2013 versie, erg lekker. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
