erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - AUG 19, 2010
Hazy golden beer with no visible carbonation. Yet a good texture. Surprising amount of hops and bitterness for a dubble. Aroma of grass, dough, some citrus, spices. Not expecting a complex, dry beer like this from the Texel Triple, but very nice. (33 cl bottle bought at Texel)

3.4
BoBoChamp (5755) - Gent, BELGIUM - AUG 16, 2010
30cl, Dutch brewery, from Melger’s Haarlem, complex brew, spicy, yet not too heavy, balanced, cloudy, good head, good brew

TrefwoordPunk (1281) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - JUL 3, 2010
Bottle 75 cl. Pours a hazy orange with a medium white head and an aroma of malts, dry hops and yeast. The taste isn’t really sweet, the hops are more detectable than the malts. There’s some fruity sweetness and spices to be found in here too. Nothing special, but Holland is not really the home of tripels.

CaptainCougar (7133) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - MAR 23, 2010
On tap at Arendsnest 8/26/09: Hazy bright golden pour has a small froth of creamy off-white head. Aroma of floral soapy notes and lightly sweet pale malt. Starts with average fullness and some light malty sweetness with some grainy character and earthy bitter presence before a drier bittersweet finish with a touch of diacetyl. An ok tripel, but could be sweeter and more yeasty.

rand (1740) - SWITZERLAND - MAR 10, 2010
Bottle 30 cl from Van Erp Dranken in Groningen (NL). Amber veiled with unrefined foam. Fruity fragance. Notes hopped and cottage cheese. On the palate, it is consistent with a dominant bitterness. Aftertaste in lack of sharpness, long, but without refinement, a little raw.

dEnk (4200) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - FEB 20, 2010
Bottle, thanks Vaiz! Brown almost grayish yellow, slight hazy. Faint yeast and dusty fruit aroma. Bitter dusty yeast flavour, dull and weird. Don’t really know about this one.

Vaiz (4460) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - FEB 20, 2010
Bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with floaties and a thin white head. Spicy citrus aroma with alcohol. Slightly funky flavor, spicy yet weird, a bit dusty and with alcohol. Dry finish.

yngwie (17109) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - DEC 28, 2009
Bottle. It’s a clear, a bit pale golden beer with a small off-white head. Spiced and grainy nose, some hops too, and promising a sugary flavor. The flavor is sweet and malty, pale malts that is, with some hops leaving a little bitterness. Medium body, quite warming. A decent beer, but nothing special. 090828

I just chose the middle grades for all the 5 categories. I had it last night and liked it, but I didn’t make any notes. At least this way I know that I have already had this.
