A nice dark yellow, a little orange color. A very large thick white head. It stays for a long time in the glass. Aromas of fruit and light yeast notes. Sweet, a little sour and a nice bitterness. It has long notes. A good triple. bu11zeye (13239) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - DEC 31, 2007
(Bottle) Pours a cloudy orangish maize body with a small white head. Aroma of orange peel, dust, and earthiness. Has an assertive floral hop flavor with fruitiness (apple, orange) and white pepper that finishes dry. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - DEC 27, 2007
Bottle from Rijn slijterij. Orange. Frothy head. Spicy aroma. Fruits, Oranges. Sugary as well. Malty and sweet tasting. High alcohol content noticeable in the finish. Warms up. Nice. Bartzilla (624) - La Mesa, California, USA - DEC 8, 2007
On draft at Arendsnest, Amsterdam. Not a lot of love, I see. Granted this isn’t like every tripel you’ve tried before.. or is it? Yeah, this is a pretty standard tripel, but that’s not a bad thing. Sweet with malt, coy with hops, bursting with yeast. I liked it. HenrikSoegaard (14710) - Randers, DENMARK - NOV 19, 2007
Bottle. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Dark yellow colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Week fruit-esters especially banana. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate. OK trippel.

Bottle @ Quinns. Cloudy amber with a thin white head. Yeasty orange nose with a bitter orange zest and sweet honey flavour. Medium palate with lots of sediment and a bitter hoppy swallow. Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 21, 2007
Hazy dulled golden body, fading white cover. A bit of powder sugar obstructs this yeasty, alcoholic, floral beer that indeed feels like a triple. It develops a competent bitterness, but remains quite sweet even so. Heavily herbal, kinda astringent. Vanilla tones show up amidst the floweriness. Higher alcohols and phenols also derivate from this exaggerating yeast strain. A witbier meets a tripel really. Solid foundations, but weird accessories. Amber, thin head. Slight dishwater and soap aroma. Taste is hugely bitter, and sticks on the tongue and palate. A bit alcoholic. fiulijn (21516) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 28, 2007
Hazy golden color; frothy big head. Strong aroma, dry malt, some spices, young wood. Quite strong body structure. Some malt taste, vegetables. Too much bitterness. Not very professional. Miksu (5052) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - JUL 11, 2007
Draught at the Arendsnest, Amsterdam. Fruity and phenolic aroma with vanilla and tobacco-like hops. Malty bittersweet and spicy flavor with herbal hops, orange and some warming alcohols.
