Pours with a medium white head. Orangy-brown in color. A somewhat thick, syrup-like substance. Starts off sweet and fruity and ends with some bitterness. Feels hot down the throat, as usual with a tripel. I liked how a curious mix of sweet bitterness stayed in my mouth for a while after drinking. A very nice beer!

Countbeer (6237) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - OCT 2, 2012
Bottle: Big vast white head changes very slowly into a somewhat thick lacing on top of a hazy yellow colored beer. Smell hops, lemon, flowers, yeast, some fruit and something like vanilla. Taste hops, citrus, lemon, medium bitter, marzepin, flowers, yeast, some light soap, some herbs, a touch of sweetness but disappears quickly with the nice bitter tones overtaking it. Theres a light stingy touch but its so well driven to the back of the taste/beer because of the floral hop aromas. Nicely done. Aftertaste is hops, citrus, grass, lemon, some malts and hay. Medium carbo, soft light tingly/spicy mouthfeel, medium to lightly fuller body and a light water more creamy texture. Nicely balanced, better than a lot of other tripels and a good choice of ingredients. I like the floral touch this beer has.

300ml bottle. Clear orangey golden colour with small to average frothy white head. Fruity, wheaty and yeasty aroma, a touch of alcohol. Taste is amply sweet fruity, some green apple. Not really an overwhelming experience.
