Dark amber color. Fine, foamy head. Fruity, sweetish, caramel malt aroma. Sweet and sour caramel malt flavor. Slightly roasted malt. Very fruity, but good hops. Relatively light, very refreshing. A touch of bubblegum. Crisp and very flavorful. Great balance between fruity malt and sour/citrus/hops. Interesting. Very creamy. Sweetish but great flavor. TimE (5953) - Tokyo, JAPAN - FEB 16, 2008
Clear brown color, excellent nutty caramel nose, with a touch of grapefruit. Very big hazelnut, milk chocolate, butterscotch mouth. A bit thin, but nice flavor. BückDich (5464) - McCall, Idaho, USA - SEP 13, 2007
Draft @ Brewpub: Copper/caramel color, thick tan head, nose of fresh malt being milled and baking cookies. A touch of hop and roast bounce out as well. The flavor has an explosively full malty character and a surprisingly clean finish for its caliber. Usually that sticky hop resin and malt sweetness stay with you, but this just gently evaporates and leaves behind the doughy malts for an extended hang time on your palate. Excellent!
