Draft at the brewpub. Pours dark brown with a creamy tan head and lots of lacing. Tastes like a sweet pumpkin dessert with cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and brown sugar. Light/medium body and carbonation. Smells like sweet cinnamon, sugary pumpkin deliciousness. sonnycheeba (5988) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - MAR 11, 2014
Tap at brewery. Pours deep, dark brown with creamy tan head. Aroma is lightly roasted malts, caramel, pumpkin, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Flavor is a good balance roast malts, pumpkin notes, spices, and caramel sweetness; dry, roast finish. Medium body and carbonation. bmerz (741) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - MAR 8, 2014
Draught at Thai Me Up. First day on. Pours like a porter. Good initial head and nice lace. Aroma is light vanilla and fresh unbutterred toast. Any pumpkin is very hidden and comes across in an earthy sweetness. Flavor is similar, well balanced with a slight lactic edge. Proper. Feel is very lively, fresh and full with the roast around the edges. The alcohol very well hidden. Never had a such a big porter that still tasted like one. Totally sold. Wish it had distro close to me. Iphonephan (6985) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - FEB 3, 2014
