Draught at Taphouse. Low fluffy white quickly disappearing head. Clear yellow golden body. Weak mild apples aroma. Relatively sweet apples flavor without much acidity or dryness. OK but feels a bit flat. mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 25, 2007
[685-20070925] Cask @ Lamb & Flag (Oxford, OX). Faint bitter apple aroma. Clear, pale yellow white body with no lasting head. Sweet sugary apple flavour has a bit of a dry bitter kick in the aftertaste. Light body is a little watery. Nicely balanced. gunnar (9091) - Sandnes, NORWAY - DEC 23, 2011

3/9/16. 12oz bottle from Five Points. Clearance rack, baby! Golden pour. Light apple on the aroma, yeasty, a touch of sulfur. Lightly sweet and tart apple flavor, not too sweet. Not bad. downender (8659) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JUN 3, 2009
On tap at Gloucestershire cricket club. This was decidedly odd- I ordered during a quiet time at the bar, so the barman was able to use both Thatcher’s Gold taps at once. One produced a golden heavily carbonated cider, the other an amber moderately carbonated one. I drank the golden one - ok for a sweet cider, albeit in the industrial category but better than both Strongbow and Blackthorn old recipe (goes without saying that the new one is terrible). Golden coloured and clear. Has a white head, fully diminishing. Faint apple aroma, sweet too. Flavor starts moderate sweet and has some acidicty. Dry texture and soft carbonation. DruncanVeasey (8226) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JAN 4, 2013
Keg, The Rutland, Sheffield, 01/01/13. High fizzing gold. Rubber with harsh rotten fruit nose. Acidic sweet, light tannic flavour. Half decent battery acid to be fair. PorterPounder (7968) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUL 24, 2015
