500ml bottle @ the Old Market Hall cinema, Shrewsbury before watching Boyhood. A great film. This pours pale yellow / very light green. Sugary sweet pear aroma, taste is juicy pear flesh and artificially sweet taste. A touch of Kopparberg in this. Not my kind of perry I’m afraid. GoufCustom (2002) - HONG KONG - JUN 14, 2014

500 ml green bottle as "Thatchers Somerset Pear" bought at Market Place by Jasons in K11, Tsim Sha Tsui.
Clear pale greenish gold colour; Half finger head and soapy white foam which fades in 10 seconds; Very small sticky lacing with fizzy carbonation; Tart aroma of pear wine, with light yoghurt, tannic, sugar, light sparkling wine and light wood; Close to light sweet taste of light pear wine, with faint yoghurt, light tannic, thin pear juice and carbo; Light body. Slick and slightly thick palate; Mouth feel is very mild pear wine in a rather thick body. Faint juice taste, sweetness is bare touch. Strong carbo and hidden alcohol. Comfy is the ley here… Slightly dry after taste. Very easy to mouth.
Comments: This could have been just as tasteless and empty as Bulmer Pear Cider, but somehow its lightness works wonderfully with its slightly thick body to make it quite enjoyable and smooth to wash down my dinner. A good light Perry.
Sample at DØE 2013. Clear yellow colour with a small white head. Aroma and flavour of pears. Erasmus_ro (2945) - Alabama, USA - JUN 23, 2013
Bottle, 21/07/13. Pours a straw yellow with some bubbles, no head. Aroma is semisweet with pear, light fermented apple/general fruit. Taste is rather mild: Apple skin, pear, bit watery, berries on the finish. Light with a lot of carbonation.

Bottle shared with MichaelBruch. Strong pear aroma combined with a light yellow colour. Pear flavour as well, nothing special but quite delicious and quaffable. MichaelAwesome (6519) - Wanne-Eickel, GERMANY - SEP 9, 2012
Bottle shared with McTapps. A decent pear cider with a medium carbo. Quite delicious if the carbo flows out a bit. Not rocket science but a solid pear cider. imdownthepub (14552) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 28, 2012
On tap at The Red Admiral, Weston Super Mare. Greenish straw with no head. Light, vaguely pear like, sharp, slightly skinny, sweetish. Drinkable but not brilliant. StueyD (1583) - Heacham, Norfolk, ENGLAND - AUG 4, 2012
Effervescent greenish yellow coloured cider. A distinct, sweet pear fruit aroma, with a hint of honey. Fizzy mouthfeel. Medium sweet pear flavour, a little sourness initially is matched with a touch of honey sweetness. Short, tart finish.

Transparant rim gone in secs; well-bubbled (spritzy), extremely pale-golden liquid. Apple, pear, but also bubblegum nose. Sweet, fruity (pear)flavour, with a sourish CO² lining. Finish is pearester as in fruitsweets, bubblegum, Turkish fruit. Very spritzy, seems even overcarbonated; light and a tad watery. Babycham de Luxe.
