750 ml bottle @ Bakgården Både &, Kristiansand. Unclear golden body with a small white head. Very pleasant and complex in aroma, fruity, mild acidic fruit, mild Brett, hint of wood, lemon and slightly vinous. Flavor is also complex and pleasant like aroma, fruity, acidic, vinous, wood, funk and bitterness – all extremely well balanced. Lots of flavors but nothing really dominates the others. Fine balanced body and long lasting aftertaste. Expensive, but great. gephross100 (943) - Bellaire, Texas, USA - SEP 10, 2016
Bottle thanks to Jonathan. Pours murky orange with no head. Smells like cider vinegar, mustard, and oranges. Mustard and aspirin flavor. medium mouthfeel low carb. koleminer20 (3498) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - AUG 9, 2016
Shared at an Ann Arbor get together at Jeff’s on July 20. 750 mL bottle. Corbet broke the bottle trying to get the cork out, so Jeff had to come to the rescue and saber this bitch open. Awesome. The pour is a frothy hazy golden yellow with a large white head that falls slowly. The aroma is quite complex. There is a lot of funkiness, citrus, stone fruit, yeast, biscuit malt, and a hint of clove. Sigh, this was great until the clove showed up. I do like that there is a good fruitiness to this. The flavor is interesting. There is a light berry and maybe some grape skin to go with the citrus. The clove really comes through on the back end with the yeast. The mouth feel is a little heavier than I would like with a nice carbonation and a lingeringly bready and dry finish. This is an interesting brew.

Big oaky nose with tons of sourness - Green apples, lemons, creaminess. Big carbonation not as sour as the nose but lots of oak, funny and lemon. Just found this a bit too big and could be more like 7% and work better. Decent but not mind blowing Arve_Christian (5114) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 21, 2016
On bottle at Sandar Bryghus. Hazy golden color, good foam. High aroma intensity; stable, autumn leaves, citrus . Medium body & medium/high complexity . High sourness, some bitterness. Very Enjoyable

750ml bottle pours out a hazy straw topped with a small head. Nose has a lot going on white wine grapes barrel notes some stone fruit funky barnyard lemon zest and a spice. Taste is more of the complex notes wine grapes tanic lemon citrus zing green apple and funk. ctipping (1956) - Florida, USA - MAR 26, 2016
750 mL bottle poured into a snifter. Reviewed from notes.
Light golden yellow. Very hazy. Nice white head.
Smell has lots of white wine, funk, and oak. Mild acidity. Grainy malt aroma with some lemon and citrus.
White wine flavors prominent again in the taste. Much more sour than the nose implied. Lemon, lactic sourness. The sweetness from pale malt builds and covers the sourness. Herbal flavors linger in the finish.
Medium carbonation. Sweet and sour in the same sip. Medium heavy body.
I had to have this (and all Ale Apothecary beers) a few times to really appreciate it. They are all very complex beers that don’t fit into standard molds.
