Thanks for bringing this guy over Todd, been interested in trying Ale Apothecary fr a little while now. Pours a light orange in color with two fingers worth of bretty, frothy head. Really nice brett forward nose, its dry, lemony, apricot, and very saison-like in nature. Flavor has a lot of similarties to the nose, its not as dry or tart, its a little sweeter, but still very crisp and saison-like. There is a light honey flavor to it, almost like a nice biere de garde. Very clean and lightly tart. Light to moderate mouthfeel, gentle carbonation, no acidity, and a moerate finish. Really, really nice beer. Iv been going back to smelling it a ton, it has a really nice farmhouse character to it reminiscent of Logsdon and HIll Farmstead. Incredibly crushable at 9.3%, this guy can sneak up on you if youre not careful. Definitely looking forward to whats to come from Ale Apothecary in the coming months/years.

UPDATED: JUN 9, 2017 Pours a golden orange with thick sudsy white head. Acidic, vinegar and lemony aroma. Quite acidic vinegar like and tart, some musty character, lemony. Quite complex. Notes: bottle pour at the new tasting room, June 17

750 mL bottle poured, that luttonm generously both shared and muscled up to remove the cork. Thanks! Happy rate number 6000! A glowing orange pour with a gentle foam head. A wild aroma, sharp, inviting. Flavor is a very nice blend of wine barrel, as expected, but executed a lot better than I had imagined. Tart orange, white grape, soft peach. A ton of dry wine barrel late. As unique and interesting as they come. A beer worth celebrating an occasion with. Excellent stuff.

Bottle in Seattle. #6000, and shared with Andrewje41. 2014 bottle. Tall offwhite, yellowish foam that drops to a consistent cream. Lightly hazed, rich orange body. Waxy Brett aroma, funky preserved citrus, deep earthy and forest-flavored undertones. Quite saison yeast focused in body, which develops very nicely. Some candied ginger, lemon spiced tea, white grape skin. Waxy Brett and lemon. Some acetone perhaps. Tastes like it has a little age. Complex and delicious. Great treat for 6k.

Bomber. Punchy tart fruity nose, yellow fruit, and citrus. Cloudy medium straw color. Light fizzy stone fruit, small bit of funk, some sugary jumps in mid palate, and then it gets dry in the finish. Thin body, very light astringency. Very pleasant . Mild flavors, well balanced, and a fair amount of tartness.
