Bottle, shared at RBAG 2013. Lemony yellow with a bubbly robust head. Zesty citrus aroma, with big flavours of pineapple and guava. Light funk, lightly lactic, with a creamy mouthfeel. So crazy good! alexsdad06 (10268) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 23, 2014
Bottle at RBWG grand tasting. Pours a hazy yellow golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have a tart citrus, mild funk, vinous notes from the wine barrels, grass, additional fruit notes, yeast with some alcohol showing at the finish. Bottle from City Beer. Pours clear blonde with a transient off-white head and a sour fruit aroma. There is a mellow fruity light malt flavor with a dry wine finish. Refreshing and tasty. phaleslu (10100) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 25, 2014
Bottle shared at RBWG, the Grand Tasting portion. Pours a hazy pale gold with a soft white head. Notes of lemon, yogurt, lactic funk, cheesecloth, sweet dough, wine grapes, and straw. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a sweet, funky, tart mouthfeel. Very good sour. GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 24, 2012
750mL thanks to brainlair. Pours a clear straw with weak white foam. Tangy citrus nose with lemongrass, spice, candied ginger, anise, butterscotch, buttercream frosting on carrot cake, rum flambeed bananas. Geez. Taste is tangy, salty, doughy. Very soft and sweaty. I really like this. Soft, funky, quenching and complex. House yeast strain has a lot of potential. My rating: 4.1 Fiancé rating: 3.9

Small rim over fully hazy yellow beer. Liqueur, perfumey, but in a very good, slightly vinous way. Fruit as citrus, banana; vanilla, maybe even Bourbon. Citrus², like drinking a sweet(ish) lemon, would that exist. Again vanilla. Sharpish feel, faint astringency, light to meidum body. Very good one! Many thanks to Don! Tasted at a bottle share in a hotel room after the most recent Jackie-O’s bottle release. Hazy darker golden color. Hazy with tons of fine particles in the body. Thin white head. Some loose dots of lace. Funky bruised fermented citrus aromas. Bigger body. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Lightly slick. More sweet than sour. OK wild ale. A lot of yeast character.
