Bottle... Poured hazy, somewhate of a pinkish/orange with a thin, lacy head. The nose was awesome here. Reminded me of cocktail bitters with the earthiness and spiciness. Tasted mildly tart with noticeable acidity. Some other funk and wine barrel tones. Mildly vinous, but the wine barrels didnt dominate and the beer could show its true colors. Fruits, floral and earthy spicing, and a little but of dryness towards the finish. beastiefan2k (4191) - HdG (past: NYC, KS, Rain City), Maryland, USA - SEP 20, 2015
UPDATED: FEB 20, 2016 750mL shared by dice. Bottled sometime in 2014, the rest of the numbers have been rubbed away. Abv is 9.45. Pours dark golden with medium head. Aroma is strong with spikey esters, some light pear, wild flurries, berries. Flavor is too sweet for the beer, not super sweet but the context for this beer is off. Some light sweet apple juice with light tartness. Cool beer but too sweet.
Rerate. October 2015 bottle. Sweet, lightly fecal aroma. Brett and fruitiness messing around, some sweetness, light herbal character. Lots going on. Flavor has some cider, too sweet for style. Mostly cidery and sweet, hiding the funk and brett. Still too sweet and still to appley.

Shared at an Ann Arbor get together at Jeff’s on July 20. 750 mL bottle. Corbet broke the bottle trying to get the cork out, so Jeff had to come to the rescue and saber this bitch open. Awesome. The pour is a frothy hazy golden yellow with a large white head that falls slowly. The aroma is quite complex. There is a lot of funkiness, citrus, stone fruit, yeast, biscuit malt, and a hint of clove. Sigh, this was great until the clove showed up. I do like that there is a good fruitiness to this. The flavor is interesting. There is a light berry and maybe some grape skin to go with the citrus. The clove really comes through on the back end with the yeast. The mouth feel is a little heavier than I would like with a nice carbonation and a lingeringly bready and dry finish. This is an interesting brew. maekchu (4104) - Hirakata, JAPAN - JAN 5, 2017
Bomber. Punchy tart fruity nose, yellow fruit, and citrus. Cloudy medium straw color. Light fizzy stone fruit, small bit of funk, some sugary jumps in mid palate, and then it gets dry in the finish. Thin body, very light astringency. Very pleasant . Mild flavors, well balanced, and a fair amount of tartness. hackobock (4073) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - NOV 27, 2015

Hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is funky and fruity with peach, lemon, grape skins, earthy mushrooms, woody, vinous and hints of spices.
Taste is light sweet fruity, funky, light tart. Finish is light sweet peach notes, grapes, slight earthy, whit e wine, some bitter pith notes.
Medium bodied, soft to average carbonation.
Bottle, thanks Jack for sharing. This was quite tasty. Reminded me of Hill Farmstead Ann and Tired Hands HandFarm—both wine barrel aged saison/sours. Lots of funk- pineapple, cotton candy, light stone fruit in the nose with a good dose of vinous white wine barrel. Flavor follows suit with a strong barrel finish. Great beer with booze well hidden. mathieuc (4000) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 12, 2013
(Was disturbed during our tasting, will have to re-rate! ;) Pours a hazy yellow with a good white head that leave superior lacing. Aroma of fruits (yellow), hops, brett. Taste is sweet with a good balancing tartness, feeling juicy. Carbonation was good, I believe I downed my glass quite fast (to catch up with the others). Really good altough I’m sure I didn’t enjoy all the subtleties. pintbypint (3947) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 22, 2013
RBAG 2013, from a bottle with a sting holding the cork in (!?) Lemony yellow and hazy in the glass. The head is white and small, not long lasting. Nose has citrus/orange and some fruitiness (pineapple maybe?). Tastes a bit sour with white wine acidity, some fruity notes and mild funk. Light finish with a little bit of barrel character. Effervescent and generally enjoyable. jrob21 (3889) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAR 2, 2015
Bottle shared at HMOG and paired with a more recent bottling. The newer bottle has a little more funk in the aroma but the flavor is too similar still for me to tell a difference. Light grape and wine flavors. Medium funkiness. Well rounded and tasty. Steve_0 (3818) - Denver, Colorado, USA - FEB 2, 2013
Bottle at home with friends. Pour is somewhat hazy golden with a white head that quickly dissipated. Funky, urine, fruity, pineapple, green apples, pears, woody, white wine, and lemon peel in the aroma. Taste is moderately tart, lemon, urine, horseblanket, somewhat doughy, pineapple, mango, white grapes, a touch of bread, and honey with a lightly sour finish. Light body with high carbonation. Light, funky, easy-drinking, and tart, hard to believe its 10%+.
