On tap 4/11/09: Pours a transparent bright copper orange with a thin-lacing off-white head. Aroma of sweet biscuity caramel malts and light fruity esters. Starts with good fullness and clean sweet biscuity flavor with light fruity complexity before a semi-sweet doughy Belgian yeasty finish. A good Belgian ale. Draft. Pours a hazy mahogony color with a white head. Both floral and fruit aromas are present. Medium carbonation with a light mouthfeel. Tastes of floral notes, candy, honey, and a good bit of spice. The finish is pretty clean with a lingering bitterness. Overall I thought this was a pretty decent brew. jasonp (1581) - Ashburn, Virginia, USA - JAN 18, 2008
Sampled at V50. Light clear copper with a white head. Some clove, light herbal hops and banana in the nose - slight aroma. Flavor has a pleasant malty caramel-like sweetness, banana, clove, grass and fresh noble hop character. Ends with a satisfying firm bitterness. Medium bodied, well-attenuated with lively carbonation. Nice beer.
