Slightly hazy dull straw. The aroma is fairly strong diacetyl with herbal hops, possibly saaz. The taste is more of that diacetyl with a hint of bitterness...just way too much butter. kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - SEP 7, 2012
The head is ok, the body light brown-yellow. The taste is barley, malty, hoppy. Overall nothing special but ok. 11/9/10/10/-/10 Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 5, 2012
At Black Turtle 3. Slightly hazed gold with small lasting head. Aroma is apparently diacetyl with saaz, in a true working combination. Also light perfume and sweet yeast. The body is mainly doughy. The flavors are alright, its certainly not refined, and has some band aid, which i dont find too offensive. And the hop seems fresh. Flawed and funny but drinkable. yespr (47077) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - OCT 17, 2011
From tap at the central Belgrade location. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild grassy and light cornish. Bitter, light butterish and cornish. Simple bitter and persisting cornish to butterish finish. as (180) - Belgrade / Hamburg, - AUG 31, 2011
Draught at several Black Turtle Pubs in Belgrade. When it first came out, this beer varied much from batch to batch, mostly in taste and palate, but for some time now it has the same features, no matter in which pub you drink it. This light - golden colored beer is characterized by it’s sweetish malty taste, dominant honey aromas with a hint of herbs, and a bit watered down palate. Still, very refreshing, and surely better than any Serbian macro pale lager available in Belgrade.

16/08 Draught at the brewpub. It poured slightly hazy golden body with medium sized head. Fine sourish and biscuit aroma touched with herbal hops. Fine hoppy, slightly bitter flavor, bread malty. Thinner, watery body, relatively short, bread and slightly chalky finish. Simple, a bit light, but fine and refreshing lager. luttonm (6657) - Seattle, Washington, USA - AUG 22, 2011
UPDATED: NOV 9, 2013 Draft at Black Turtle pub.
This beer is tasting a lot better lately. I assume because they’ve updated the recipe, or at least their techniques. Most consistently good beer that they have, clean bite and flavor. Hoppier now too.
(Original Rating from 2011: 2.0, Metallic, sour mess. Almost no head, honey and clear. Creamy body, sour mashing. bit of bitter alc bite, but otherwise very plain. ) estpiwo (1319) - ESTONIA - JUL 30, 2011
Draft. Golden color white head. Spicy herbal aroma. Taste is rich: spices, hops, malts. At the beginning quite sweet, but after more bitter. Bitter finish. Nice beer. omhper (25565) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - NOV 17, 2010
Draught at Black Turtle, Decanska 23, Belgrade. Hazy golden, small head. Grassy and fruity. Medium bodied and mid sweet with soft mouthfeel,. Slight winegum and grass, fairly low bitterness. Nicely drinkable with some interesting flavours. I like it. Marko (5930) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - OCT 27, 2010
Draught at the Black Turtle pub in Gospodar Jovanova. Hazy golden body with a big, thick white head that went away slowly, quite lovely. This had a sweaty herbal hoppy? nose, light soft malty body with the same wall of passionfruit, again from the hop, but without much bitterness. Didn’t think it was as drinkable as the other one. They share the same mistakes and some work is definitely needed.
