Richly hoppy in-mouth with grassiness, peppery spices and a nutty touch. Bitter, grassy finish. Medium-bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Aroma: Burnt toffee, toast and pine.
Appearance: Clear golden/amber body with a medium white head. No visible carbonation. Light lacing.
Taste: Similar to the aroma - wood and burnt toffee. Also notes of tea and grass. Nice bitterness.
Palate: Medium body with an oily texture. Light carbonation prickle.
Overall: To me, this is more of a Bitter than an IPA - lots of deep, roasted flavours. I’d definitely try this again.
