Bomber from Whole Foods Market Columbus/Dublin, OH. Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized fizzy brown head that fades quickly. Aroma of leafy hops and toffeeish malts. The taste is toffee malts, toasted malts, spicy hops. Medium-full bodied. Well balanced. Another nice one from Brew Kettle. Dogbrick (13126) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - SEP 15, 2006
Sample at the brewpub: Clear red-amber color with a medium thin off-white head. Thin rings of lacing. Sweet malt and caramel in the nose. Medium body with a sweet character that has some bitterness around the edges. Leans toward malt over hops as far as the flavor goes. The finish is mostly sweet with a light hops aftertaste. A step up from the Killian’s level but not a real big one. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JUL 14, 2010

22 oz. bottle from Ludlow Wines or Keller’s IGA, don’t remember which, but both have this beer for the low price of $3.99. Pours a nice clear amber color with a finger-thick off-white head. Notes of caramel and brown sugar are heavily present, with toast, nuts, tea, and earthy hops. Light-medium bodied, with soft carbonation and a toasty mouthfeel. Nice amber ale from TBK. On tap at Brew Kettle. Clear reddish amber with a medium off-white head. Malty and bready aroma that is sort of sweet. Mostly malt flavor with a smoky hop finish. FROTHINGSLOSH (7879) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 7, 2012
From the 4/2012 3R6P tasting. +++ Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured an orange-caramel color with a small soapy white head that left a touch of lacing. The aroma was crystal malt and vague fruity hops. The flavor was caramel, grapefruit, pine, crystal malt and a hint of orange. The finish was medium length caramel, crystal malt and vague fruit. Medium body. Uninspired.

Tap @TBK. Pours a clear reddish copper body with a small wispy off-white head. Slightly grainy malt nose, fairly light, with zero hops. The flavor is a little thin and light but I suppose that’s the nature of the style. Toasty and grainy but no flaws noted. Lighter bodied and a little husky and grainy with fizzy carbonation. A run of the mill Red Ale, but again, certainly drinkable.
