Draft. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted and produced good lacing. Moderate toasted rye & hop aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Moderate tingly bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met Drake (14059) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 26, 2014

12oz bottle. Clear sort of reddish amber color. thin khaki head. Dots of lace. Nice lighter smooth carbonation, dry finish. Very nice rye grain aroma - toasty rye bread, and a good amount of spicy hops. Moderate bitter taste, a light sweet finish. Easy to drink, refreshing enough for a 100F day. Thanks to Cliff for the bottle but sorry man- but this was revolting... . Mucky tan brown .. . Fizzy head .. . Thin mouth .. . Metal and water treatment qualities .. . The lettering was wrong, a C fell off the name of this beer .. . . I always carry at least 20 sharpie pens on me.. Just incase.. drfabulous (8467) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - SEP 9, 2013
12 ounce bottle. Copper color. Malty with lots of caramel. Bit of sweetness on end. That rye comes through. Interesting take on amber. JaBier (8156) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - JUL 30, 2012
Sample at From the Vine on 7/27/12. Clear copper pour with a thin off-white head. Aroma of rye, caramel and grassy hops; very fresh, almost like wort. Malty and caramelly flavor with spicy rye before a grassy hop finish. JStax (7123) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - JUN 25, 2012
Poured on draft. Hazy amber with a white head of foam that had a tint of orange to it. Aroma is all spicy rye with some resin and floral hop notes. Taste is all rye spiciness at first but gives way to a earthily bitter finish. Full mouthfeel.
