UPDATED: OCT 14, 2016 Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a red-caramel color with a large creamy orange-white head that left good lacing. The aroma was sweetish with vague berries and red sweedish fish. The flavor was strong sweet raspberry jam followed by vanilla and table sugar. Medium length finish. Full bodied and smooth. Well done. Dogbrick (13144) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 18, 2016
Sample at the brewpub. Clear ruby-brown color with a medium light beige head that recedes gradually to an outer ring. Small patches of lace. Aroma of berries, vanilla and malt. Medium body with flavors of sweet vanilla, mild raspberry and caramel malt. The finish is sweet-tart vanilla and raspberry. Decent overall. Fritz123 (1535) - Boca Raton, Florida, USA - MAR 22, 2015
Draft sampler at the tasting room. Pours an amber ruby with a small head. Aroma of vanilla beans and raspberries. A little medicinal. Taste is more raspberry with a finish of vanilla. Medium carb, light body. Not bad. outlawskies (480) - Ohio, USA - OCT 12, 2014

On tap at the brew kettle. Pours dark reddish color with thin white head that doesn’t last. Aroma is a nice mix of vanilla and fresh raspberries. Flavors are vanilla and raspberry that is not cloyingly sweet. A nice brew. madscientist (4) - USA - AUG 31, 2009 does not count

7/09/2008: RN Vanilla Frambozen is red-brown in color and doesn’t have any foam. The red raspberry aroma is accompanied by a pretty sweet but balanced flavor of real raspberries and caramelized sugar. There is a slight vanilla flavor as well. This beer has an average body and mouthfeel and is decent overall.
22 fl. oz. bottle from The Brew Kettle in Strongsville, Ohio. Rating #19 for this beer.
This poured a nice ruby red color with a fluffy off white head. Aroma was of really sweet rasberries and a hint of vanilla. Flavor was yeasty with some really sweet almost overbeariong raspberry taste with a hint of vanilla again. Not bad, but a bit too sweet for my liking. Bottle: Poured a light clear amber color ale with a good size foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is a nice enough mix between some vanilla and some raspberries. Taste is a well balance mix between some raspberries (real no syrup) with some distinctive notes of vanilla and a good medium sweet malt backbone. Full body with some good carbonation and no discernable alcohol. I wasn’t sure the mix between vanilla and raspberries would work but I was quiet impressed.
