UPDATED: DEC 29, 2017 Appearance: Slightly hazy medium amber. Thin layer of white foam.
Nose: Pine hops, with elements of resin, pineapple and herbs. Light malt
Taste: Resinous pine hops with citrus, resin and decent malt flavor.
Body: Lighter with active carbonation
Parting thoughts: Somewhat of the name offering for this brewer, I finally had some on tap. It’s a very solid balanced IPA. I don’t know about the hype, but it’s very good.

Bottle from Dirty Matt. Clear dark amber pour with a frothy off white head that fades to a ring around the glass. A fairly resinous and tropical hop aroma with a nice malt backbone, nice carbonation and body, slightly bitter at first then grows without overwhelming. Good. jc1762 (1651) - Washington DC, USA - OCT 29, 2017
Bottle into a snifter showing well filtered pale to deep gold with very sparse white foam.
The nose shows moderately intense notes of very round pine with a light bready malt backbone. Upon warming up more notes of tea and orange appear.
The palate is moderately carbonated and light bodied. Moderately intense flavours of pine with mid-palate of bready malt. Finish showing a moderately sharp IPA bitterness. Tommynh (130) - - AUG 20, 2017
Had on draft at Buffalo Wild Wings in Cleveland. Very good IPA with a nice initial scent, nice golden color, very nice IPA taste, a bit of an aftertaste but not too strong. Overall a nice IPA

Bottle at CMH Hilton. Mild pleasant citrus aroma. Slightly hazy dark golden color, with white head, great lacing. Flavor is very well balanced, nice malt offsetting a smooth bitterness, a little citrus, touch of pine. Med body. Overall, a very nice IPA.

Aromas of orangey citrus, floral. Mostly clear orange with a fairly white head. Dry, citrusy. Medium bodied. ContemplateBeer (2097) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - JUN 1, 2017
12 oz. bottle from Jungle Jims without a bottle date, so hoping this is reasonably fresh. Aroma: Moderate to strong clementine peel with hints of pine and/or herbaceous hop character; malts are very light, semi-sweet cereal. Appearance: Transparent honey gold with slow, plentiful carbonation holding up sticky tan head that settles into a sticky skin. Flavor: Big citrus with herbaceous notes that are not negligible; malts are minimized with only a whisper of sweetness that dies away quickly; pretty bitter and dried up in the finish. Palate: Medium body, sticky texture, lively carbonation, bitter finish. Overall: Definitely an exemplary, standout IPA. Probably not something Id drink everyday, but ideal for hopheads, and that occasional hop fix for the rest of us. commonshawn (1339) - Minnesota, USA - MAY 5, 2017
Bottle in Cleveland. Hazy dark yellow with small white head and good lacing. Packs a big citrus punch, with plenty of hop bitterness. Well balanced. Feels like a west coast ipa. Good . alobar (3966) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 1, 2016
Straw yellow color with a white soapy head. Aroma of pineapple, orange, and passion fruit. Tropical fruit flavor with some biscuit and slight bitterness. Very flavorful and well-balanced. ganache (6087) - New Jersey, USA - AUG 25, 2016
Bottle. Nose obviously dry and resinous, lots of pith and tropical citrus peel. Pour rich golden-orange, opaque with a short soapy beige head. Taste is strongly bitter but not excessively so, caramel is strong but dulled, more like biscuit/dough, but citrus is bright and shimmers around the edges. Pine and this wonderful tropical musk, not the more known like mango, but a bit leafier. Pilsner-like malt underneath (tad grainy) but it’s clear the the malt has mostly been abandoned. Clean full body crisp and refreshing, bright. Enjoyed this one, but have to admit to disappointment given the surprise hype. [2016.08.25: 3.4]
