UPDATED: JAN 5, 2011 Bottle thanks to jcwattsrugger. Pours peach with white head. Nose is an in your face blanket of pineapple and peach. Taste is dry clean peach and very light pine. Medium body. Probably the best straight up IPA I’ve ever had.

brokensail (16486) - Dublin, California, USA - JAN 8, 2012
The beer is gold in color with a finger of white head. There is a really nice citrus hop nose on this one. Plenty of tropical and fruity notes, too. Similarly intense hop notes on the palate. Lots of tropical fruit and citrus characteristics with a moderate bitterness to it. There is a hint of bready malt in the background. Medium body with medium carbonation. Nicely done.

Bottle from bittermestupid. Thanks Greg. Pours light amber with a creamy white head. Aroma is hoppy, but seems more celery than anything. Med body. Flavor is mild floral/citrus over a nice caramel backbone. Don’t know where the celery went. It’s pretty darn bitter, and it finishes that way.

12 ounce bottle from Secret Santa jmikolich. Thanks! Pours a clear amber color with a thin frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of big citrus hops with a bit of lemongrass and herbal notes. Caramel malts to balance. The taste is strong herbal hops with some lemongrass and citrus, and caramel malts. Faint tropical notes. Slight lingering bitterness, well balanced, medium bodied. Nice beer, as usual from these guys.
