Tap, Max’s. Clear dark copper body with a wispy beige head. Nose is lightly sour with a touch of acidity and cereal grain. The flavor is nicely tart and fruity up front, zero acidity. Faded to a cereal grain laced finish with a nice snap of tartness. Light bodied, not quite fully dry, fizzy carbonation. Excellent sour. I could drink this all night and not get heartburn. 12 oz. on tap at Max’s. Cloudy brown with a purple-red tinge and a lasting ring of cream. Nose is tart raspberry and metallic ozone. Tastes of tart red berry, caramel, toast, citrus zest and dry grass. Light-medium body has medium carbonation and a nice balance. Very refreshing on a hot day. Poured a dark hazy red color with no head. Aroma of raspberries and yeast. Taste has lots of sweet raspberries and grains. Some milk chocolate as well. Finish has cereal and raspberries. Different and good!
