The head is good, the body brown and clear. It smells malty, darkmalty, dry, a bit alcoholic. The taste is sweet, aromatic-alcoholic, bit roasty, yeasty, later dry. bozoNZ (784) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - NOV 23, 2012

On tap at the brewpub. Served a deep mahogany color with a small head and just a bit of lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, dark fruits with just a hint of chocolate. taste of roasted malt and dark fruits with a trace of chocolate and spice in the background. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. fairly medium body, smooth and creamy texture. No hint of the 7.1% ABV. Good sipper at the end of the day. Check it out.
