(En fût à la brasserie): Protéiné, sécheresse désertique, honnête touche sulfureuse mais un peu trop râpeuse sur la longue distance. DedicatedToFun (4000) - Santa Monica, California, USA - MAY 17, 2015
Tap, gold pour, white head, nose and taste are crisp, minor citrus, decent pils GT (10002) - San Diego, California, USA - MAY 7, 2015

>> Low haze straw pour, good foam. Nose is fresh bread, low sugar, yellow apple. Taste is similar with good density, small tannic and papery bite in the finish. Drinkable, simple.
Draft at GABF. Light lemon and pepper, light corn / ethanol, sharp saccharine and lots of LME-like raw malt syrup. Medium body, twangy, minty, green plant matter hop character. Funky, game-y and cloying with remnant yellow apple or pear notes, maybe even some banana (!) esters in their. Unclean fermentation, the higher alcohol is especially off-putting. brokensail (16633) - Dublin, California, USA - AUG 15, 2012
The pour is a clear golden color with a white head. Nose is sweet with a fair amount of adjunct character. It’s got some table sugar, corn/corn syrup, and a light bread note. Minimal hop aromas, just a touch of grass. The flavor is similarly sweet. Lots of sugar and corn notes, a touch of apple juice and fruit esters to it as well. Light bread/malt character and very faint hops. No real perceivable bitterness.

On draught at the brewpub. Pours a deep gold color with a fine white head. Small bubbles. Solid medium body. Clean light lager with soft mouthfeel. Very mellow hop flavor and slight bitterness. Nice flavor balance. Well done.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild cornish and light grassy. Bitter and slight grassy flavoured. Dry finish. Mild fruity hops touch. SamGamgee (2452) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - MAY 15, 2009
Draught at the brewpub. This one has eluded me for some time. A pretty nice pils/export with good balance and drinkability. It is a bright gold color with a small amount of lasting foam, though they don’t pour much of a head in their pint glasses. The aroma is pretty closed to start, probably owing to the low serving temp, but opens as the beer warms, exhibiting sweet bread a spicy noble hops. It never becomes very pronounced, but is quite pleasant. The flavor is a mix of clean bready malts and a hoppy, lightly mineral and medium bitter finish. Balance remains fairly equal, with the bitterness nicely cleaning up the finish and making the beer quite refreshing, but never really stepping on the malt. The body is light and just a little too watery, though not far off for the style. Mellow, but well done. User57106 (246) - - FEB 19, 2008
Draft at brewery, 02/18/08. 5.1% ABV. Unfiltered: a hazy golden hue. No carbonation to speak of; the only one of my batch of tasters with no foam left after a couple of minutes. Aroma is spicy: cloves and black pepper. Main flavor is what macro lagers are aiming for (a bit of sweet graininess), but there’s a bit of spiciness (coriander?) and a hint of bitterness before a generally clean finish. One of the better pilseners I’ve had, period. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - OCT 2, 2007
Tasted at brewery. Clear yellow with no head. Wheat bread aroma and taste. Nothing special.
