Bottle opened during the Christmas Movie Marathon on 12/20/14. Reddish brown pour with a medium tan head. Aroma of malt, caramel, berry and oak. Malty and caramelly flavor with Belgian esters, berry and oak before a sweet, vinous finish.

Draft at craft ale house. Pours clear reddish amber with minimal head but a slight surface coating. The aroma has a nice oak, some Winey notes, but little else. I wonder if this has faded due to age. Mmm soy sauce...
A - pours a dark burnt sienna with no head. S - Nose is soy sauce and soy sauce. Some toasted nuts, chocolate, raw cacao with Belgian yeast. M - medium body with a light tang. End is warming and sweet. T - in the taste the soy sauce is toned down. Strong raw cacao, toasted nuts chocolate, barrel notes and a light alcohol end. Some vanilla, toasted pecans and bread dough. This poured a dark amber color with a white head. Aroma was of lots of.caramel, Belgian yeast, and booze. Flavor was similar, lightly woody. Another booze bomb by the bruery.
