Bottled (old backlog, had@Pikkulintu, Helsinki). Very deep ambery brown colour, close to black, with a small slightly off-white head. Aroma is spices, burnt sugar, some bready and sweet malts along with some slight notes of alcohol. Flavour is sweet malts, ripe fruits, some berries, spices and mild burnt sugary notes. Also a slight alcoholic burn to it. Surprising that the palate is rather watery for a beer this big and stuffed with flavours.

Very hazy dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Light dry palate. Even malt, slightly crispy and a little spicy. Trace of wood. Dry finish. Not much going on here, dull and disappointing!
Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Pours a cloudy orangey brown with a small and creamy of-white head. Overripe fruit in the nose, a little yeast and a slight tartness. Solid body, oxidized overripe fruitiness, again slightly tart and yeasty with a very discreet woody edge. Warming yet subtle alcohol in the finish. 141111 Leighton (21755) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 13, 2013
Bottle shared at CBC First Birthday Party, London. I think I brought this one. Pours clear, rich ruby with a creamy, beige head. Nose holds ripe berries and light spice, some caramel, bread, honey and dark marmalade. Big sweet flavor with lots of caramel, light toasty toffee, great ripe fruits, plums, berries, raisins. Full bodied with average, heavy carbonation. Very sweet finish with plenty of ripe fruit sugars, cherries, plums, bready malts. Big sweet beer in general, some spices and plenty of ripe fruits all around. saxo (18959) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - AUG 12, 2011
