750 ml bottle. Pours a murky deep orange with a foamy off-white head. Nice lacing. Aroma of pineapple, sugars, cinnamon, allspice, and floral hops. Boozy. Taste is of tart pineapple, loads of spiciness, and a subtle caramel malt. Balances the tartness out very well. A little on the sweet side, but not a bad BSA. Pineapple is definitely there but not overwhelming. Enjoyable once you get used to the boozy warmth from mouth to tummy. harrisoni (19350) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - DEC 30, 2012

750mL Bottle. Pours a semi-hazy apricot color with a medium white head decent retention and good lacing. Nose is funky Belgian yeasts and some spice. Mouth is both tangy and sweet up front, the pineapple really coming through, then spicy-yeastiness you’d expect in similar Belgian styled beers, (particularly from these guys), hint of cloves and anise at the tail-end, then some biscuit with a warm finish (although I had this in my trunk and it’s a balmy 19 degrees outside, it is 11.5% after all). Nice festive ale, that will probably give me a good yeast headache in the morn. Happy New Year’s Eve Eve. ;-)

pours cloudy golden orange, starts with a two finger tan head, fades fast to just a thin ring. Aroma is nice, you can smell the pineapple right away, some belgian yeast, and as the label states, it actually does have a spice cake aroma. Taste is fruity with dried pineapple notes, spiicy yeast, ends with a slight bitter hint that evens out this almost cloyingly sweet brew, some warmth from thhe abv, but not as much as you would expect from an 11.5. nice brew would like to try again in 7 years. 750mL bottle. Poured brilliant bright golden with a nice cap of eggshell head.. looked great! The aroma picked up fresh floral notes, Belgian yeast, and juicy pineapple, with cinnamon and ginger coming on a deeper whiff.. came across strong, but just the right level of strong. The flavor ramped everything up about 4 notches.. tangy pineapple, black pepper, and cinnamon on the tip of the tongue, with honey and lesser bready notes on the middle.. fiery spicage and alcohol warmth plus pineapple juice on the long, belly-warming finish.. some sourness followed the burn down the throat. Heavy-bodied and aggressive through the palate.. too many sugars, too much boozage, and just about the right amount of spice.. this was tasty overall, but it did not go down easily. shrubber85 (11623) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - DEC 29, 2012
Bottle. Pineapple, light spice, and caramel malt aroma. Cloudy brown-yellow with moderate head. Sweet pineapple, caramel malt and ginger flavor. Alcohol finish. Pretty good but not one I would want very often. queenholly (3623) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - DEC 29, 2012
Bottle. Pineapple, light spice, musty yeast, and alcohol aroma. Cloudy honey gold with a moderate white head. Sweet tart pineapple, Belgian yeast, cinnamon, ginger, and light alcohol finish, Light body, moderately dry finish. Gachupines (1252) - USA - DEC 29, 2012
Golden with a thick white head. Aroma is pineapple and a little spice, maybe some cloves. Flavor is a little sweet and tart. Some of the spice is present, but mostly citric sweetness from the pineapple and oddly similar to orange juice. It’s an interesting try, but not for me.
