750 ml bottle. Pours a hazed holden color. Aroma of pineapple, booze, sweet pale malts. Some touches of spice. Flavor is dominated by pineapple and booze, lots of sweetness. Some cinnamon and ginger notes. Medium bodied, slick carbonation. Finishes a bit boozy. JohnC (3008) - Mission Viejo, California, USA - DEC 1, 2012
I had this at a tasting at Total Wine in Laguna Hills, CA.
Well, they hit their mark with trying to make a "pineapple upside down cake" beer. I liked it. Nice flavor and change of pace. dmac (6646) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - NOV 30, 2012
750ml bottle purchased from Spirits Brick. Poured a cloudy nectar gold body with an average size frothy white head. Aroma is all Belgian yeast, fruitiness, freeze dried pineappple, gold toast, bubble gum. The body medium to full with loads of strong carbonation, lingering finish from the carbonation. Flavor of Belgian yeast, sweet, sugary tropical fruit, a burst of tartness, a touch of chemical, bad peach. Meh, maybe this will be better in 7 years. arminjewell (9744) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - NOV 30, 2012
Pour out of 750 mL bottle, hazy orange-yellow pour with thin white head, aroma has notes of pineapple, some nice ginger notes, hints of earth, slightly dirty, slight grape, pear notes, hints of slight booze as it warms but overall not bad. Taste is a mix of sweet ginger, allspice, lots of fruity pineapple, much like pineapple juice, hints of earth, slight peach and pear notes, pretty sweet sugary cracker and caramel notes, finishing with a hint of booze, sweet. Much like pineapple upside down cake, which is actually the better of ones I’ve had in a while! dogfish120love (1364) - Westfield, Massachusetts, USA - NOV 30, 2012
Pours a hazy dark orange with a white lacing. Aroma consists of allspice, banana, clove, cinnamon and ginger...a bit of a mess. The flavor is bitter and could plausibly be described as medicinal. The finish is pineapple and alcohol. I’m rating this low aromatically not because the aroma isn’t pungent, but because the flavors do not blend harmoniously.

i like the beer, and the idea, but shouldn’t the days be counting down instead of up? mikem409 (2032) - bloomfield, Michigan, USA - NOV 20, 2012

UPDATED: NOV 17, 2012 Tap @ The BeerMongers... Poured pale, cloudy, yellow-ish orange with a nice forming head. Quite fruity, perfumy, floral with tangerine-like citrus tones and other tropical fruits. Thick body, quite sweet. Fruit juice/nectar with fermented yeast spice and tartness. Hints of ginger shined towards the end here. The high abv was well masked with this easy drinking, fruity tasting beer. JoeTheYounger (1195) - Lake Arrowhead, California, USA - NOV 6, 2012
On draft at the bruery. Golden pour (pun intended) small white rings. Aroma is predominantly belgian yeast with a hint of spice. Taste is initially sweet with some spice, pears and pineapple. Peacehammer (627) - California, USA - NOV 5, 2012
spicy Belgian aroma, that plays with the pineapple nicely. A slight funk flavor, but nothing outrageous. Pale hazy gold color.
