75cl bottle from liquor store in Costa Mesa...Hi Time Pours a slightly murky amber with little head. Sweet with yams and brown sugar, and moderately spiced . Balanced. There is also a fairly nice bready finish that is a bit like an uniced cinnamon roll- yeasty, bready. All in all, a pleasant experience, especially after the beer opens up for a while. It seems to get less sweet and certainly less carbonated- and breadier. ocdrinker909 (33) - USA - APR 6, 2010

Poured from 750ml bottle. Pours dark brown with tan head. Aroma is sweet potato pie with a nice amount of bourbon. Taste is sweet with flavors of vanilla, sweet potato, cinnamon, nutmeg and all spice. I am a big fan of the base beer. This variant adds to that great base beer, just dialing up the flavor and adding the element of vanilla and booze. Love it. markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - JAN 31, 2010
Huge thanks to TampaBrew for bringing this one. Pours red-brown with an off-white head. Nose is bourbon, vanilla, yam, whiskey, malt, brown sugar, and maple with a tang of booze burn. Flavor is yam all over, caramel, malt, bourbon, brown sugar, allspice, cinnamon, vanilla, and some barely noticeable booziness. For a 10% beer this one is deceivingly balanced towards the malt and sweetness leaving booze almost indiscernible. Another great Bruery beer.

Very good beer. This is a welcome addition to the beers made especially for the fall. Most are the Pumpkin beers, which I am getting tired of. This maple, yam, and spices are great. I will drink this all year if it is available.

Had this on Thanksgiving. 750ml bottle from the Bruery. Pours reddish brown. Well balanced aromas of toasty malts, wood, Bourbons, and caramels. Slight wood sourness along with all the mild sweet malts, Bourbon, and toffee. Perfect balanced flavors. Finishes with a bite and is warming. Very good! craftbeerdesign (2254) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - OCT 5, 2009
sample from the bottle at Dr. Bill’s Tasting at Falling Rock during GABF on 9/26/09... pours a deep red with an off white head... bourbon nose with some spice... very smooth body throughout... extremely well balanced... the barrel aging really shines through from front to back. gkost (1069) - Alaska, USA - NOV 18, 2009
#800! Pours a hazy amber with no head. Nose is bourbon, fresh wood, candied yams, cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, booze and ripe fruits. Flavor is mild bourbon, earthy wood, sweet yams, slight musty oxidation, aromatic pumpkin pie spices, huge sweet malt backbone, rich chocolate covered cherries. Phenomenal beer. One of the best barrel aged beers I have ever had. It lends itself perfectly to that style. 48FanInCali (851) - California, USA - OCT 7, 2011
UPDATED: JAN 17, 2012 Bomber. Dark maple pour with some head. Nose is all kinds of fall goodness and should be replicated into a car air freshener. The base beer for this is phenomenal. Spices galore with yams, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla, and everything that a fall beer should be. The bourbon adds another couple of notches to this experience. One of the best I have ever had.
